This is a great industrial postcard. Many French-Canadians immigrated to Old Town at one point (not my own ancestors, however) and these images that you place online are such a great resource for people who are researching their family history.
ReplyDeleteA while back, I posted a card of the General Electric Factory in Schenectady, N.Y. which employed many Quebecers and New Brunswickers and it was amazing how many memories it brought back for some.

Old Town was a destination for many Canadians in the late 1800's. My grandmother was one. We have an island that is called French Island.
